History of the :RSM: Clan |
|
|
|
|
The :RSM: Clan was founded on the 28th Oct 2008 and is based on mateship and loyalty. The clan is made up of friends that have met within the gaming community over the last 5-10 years and all have found common ground.
Although :RSM: primarily started as a COD4 clan our gaming genre has expanded to include rFactor, World of Tanks and Battlefield3.
We currently have a COD 4 Public server with 20 slots and a Private 20 slot server for practice, interclan wars and scrims.
On the rfactor front we have a 22 slot server which is used for our highly popular racing seasons that are getting bigger and better all the time. We run 3 different mods during the week and have a number of other mods on hand. The admin for rFactor is sarge and he will always help if needed. That's why we love him...:)
World of Tanks has proved immensely popular and we boast a member base of 36. Mumsy set up the WoT clan but sadly we don't love him...;)
Battlefield3 has grown in popularity and it won't be long until we have our own server for this popular game. Stay tuned.
:RSM: is all about the members and guests enjoying themselves in a friendly atmosphere.
Please check the recruiting page http://www.rsmclan.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=24:apply&catid=29:the-cms&Itemid=38 if you are interested in joining a great community of friends.

The Joomla! team has millions of good reasons to be smiling about the Joomla! 1.5. In its current incarnation, it's had millions of downloads, taking it to an unprecedented level of popularity. The new code base is almost an entire re-factor of the old code base. The user experience is still extremely slick but for developers the API is a dream. A proper framework for real PHP architects seeking the best of the best. If you're a former Mambo User or a 1.0 series Joomla! User, 1.5 is the future of CMSs for a number of reasons. It's more powerful, more flexible, more secure, and intuitive. Our developers and interface designers have worked countless hours to make this the most exciting release in the content management system sphere. Go on ... get your FREE copy of Joomla! today and spread the word about this benchmark project. |

The Joomla! Project has assembled a top-notch team of experts to form the new Joomla! Security Strike Team. This new team will solely focus on investigating and resolving security issues. Instead of working in relative secrecy, the JSST will have a strong public-facing presence at the Joomla! Security Center. |

This is now implemented by inserting a Read more... tag (the button is located below the editor area) a dotted line appears in the edited text showing the split location for the Read more.... A new Plugin takes care of the rest. It is worth mentioning that this does not have a negative effect on migrated data from older sites. The new implementation is fully backward compatible. |
